The Generational Comedy
This is an allegory that can apply to pretty much everything. It’s written in this experimentally overly simplistic fashion in an attempt to make it able to succinctly encapsulate both some periods of life and some immensely heavy moments therein.

group hates Thing and always disembowels it as much as they ever can
group does Other Thing
group think Other Thing is god whether they know it or not
Other Thing sucks
raised in the wake of the factual recognition of Other Thing being all failure
see what’s left of Thing
Thing still going a little

Thing must be the one
Thing is new, available, and free
Thing does all what Other Thing can’t
Thing also actually kinda right
learn more and no, Thing is the total good guy
now have lease on life for the first time
all previous problems sorted
have opportunity to develop and handle more
nothing like this would’ve ever happened with Other Thing
look back sometimes
Other Thing is aging poorly, decaying in one spot and actively getting worse in other spot
keep going

now at this stage Thing has problems
future better than being in the dying of Other Thing actually unable to be assured

they start saying to go to Other Thing

it’s Hell
cursed me permanently
how can Hell lead to Heaven

Thing’s trajectory isn’t turning out, at least not your vehicle
not at all as well as was supposed to

Other Thing maybe will be working better, but still garbage
people say you have to do Other Thing

they command and sometimes appeal
and it can’t be right because their character’s incorrect
they’re only commanding and appealing when it’s an indulgence
ignores any question or idea inconvenient
their Other Thing is to lord over and look and talk down
not how Other Thing’s allegedly supposed to work
they’re correct in the particular of one part but only capable of it with the fulfilment of wrong everywhere else

can do some more but not enough
need to grow now, i have problems
but thing can’t give a way to now go beyond where i am

only enabled by believers’ failings

how can that be done if it sucks

one time right because nine times wrong makes wrong
‘right one time so magically can never be wrong, everything you do wrong because it not one time’

how can that be worth it
how can you make something better by giving up to these people and becoming worse
how are they worth it
as if they’d magically not be like that to me if i gave up on it all
