Read Now | There seems to be a common misconception here in the US among Orthodox Christians that the Orthodox Church condemns “fascism.” So lets address that.
One of the most heartening developments in the Church was that decision of the Holy Synod of the Romanian Orthodox Church to approve the canonisation of the 16 Romanian clergymen and monastics. What matters is their Orthodox confession of the faith, suffering under communism, and miracles. (And the Legionary associations of Ilie Lăcătușu, Ilarion Felea, and Dumitru Stăniloae are interesting biographical details.)
The Orthodox Churches are such a blessed & righteous contrast to the degenerate West (e.g. the current Bishop of Rome & Archbishop of Canterbury). Fascists did not destroy churches - Communists did.
I seem to remember this guy being subversive from years ago. Talking about canon law when you’re in communion with people pray with the Pope, Jews and pagans is crazy work. I don’t consider the Apostolic Canon which says hand your country over to foreigners.

I won't be flagrant but these people should be put up on a stage and then everyone should, as one, cringe violently. Nothing more, just pure shame.
